Events we host
Venue 92 is one private hall for up to 150 guests, and it is hired for almost every kind of event: wedding receptions, Nikkah ceremonies and walimas, birthday, engagement and anniversary parties, christenings, Eid, Diwali and bar mitzvah celebrations, wakes, Christmas parties, meetings, training days and conferences, awards dinners, exhibitions, product launches, comedy nights, boxing shows and fitness and dance classes.
Whatever the event, you get the same things: the hall to yourselves, a serviced bar with our own staff, a kitchen for your caterer, tables and chairs, heating and air conditioning, and free parking on site.
Wakes and celebrations of life
When a family needs somewhere for people to gather after a funeral, the hall gives you a private room, a bar, a kitchen for a caterer and free parking, in Highams Park, Chingford. Call us on 020 8523 5133 and we will check the date with you.
Boxing shows and sports events
The open floor takes a boxing ring with seating around it, for fight nights, club shows and other sports events, with the bar open for spectators.
Event questions
How many guests can the hall take?
Up to 150 guests. Tell us whether you need everyone seated or a mix of seated and standing, and we will suggest a layout.
Can we bring our own caterer and decorator?
Yes. Your caterer can work from the kitchen and your decorator can dress the hall. We confirm set-up times for your date.
How late can events run?
Our evening hours run to 1am on Saturdays and midnight on Sundays. Ask when you enquire and we will confirm the finish time for your date.
Is the hall step-free?
No. The hall is on the first floor and is reached by stairs, and there is no lift. If any of your guests have limited mobility, call us on 020 8523 5133 before you book and we will talk it through.
